AIIMS Campus in Mangalgiri, Andhra Pradesh, India, by the Government of India’s Ministry of Health & Family Welfare has been designed keeping in mind the AIIMS’s trinity of goals: Education, research, and patient care.
The 173-acre campus is nestled between the picturesque hillocks of the Tadepalli reserve forest which aides in creating a healing environment. The campus has zones defined for healthcare, academic and residential zones to create a holistic environment. The medical zone stands with a 960-bed hospital and Outpatient department. The best practices of evidence-based planning have been incorporated so as to focus on creating a holistic model where patient treatment, research, and both healthcare receiver and provider receive equal support and have a good user experience.
