A fervent enthusiasm for the finer things in life led Neelam Kothari Soni to explore the world of jewellery design alongside her father, offering a wellspring for her creative thirst.This process of transforming gems into exquisite works of art ignited a deeper designer's passion, compelling her to pursue more and that is what led her to the interior design space.
Neelam is known as a woman who successfully juggles between her role as a professional and as a homemaker, mother and daughter. Santi is a seasoned Italian architect with over 25 years of experience. His exceptional talent was recognized early on as his projects were showcased at the Biennale of Venice while he was still a student. After earning his Master's Degree with honours in Italy, he pursued his PhD at Newcastle University in the UK. He balanced his academic pursuits with establishing his own design firm, which continues to thrive today.
Santi embarked on his professional career in Italy, handling both residential and public projects. He then relocated to Australia, where he refined his skills as a Design Architect for an international firm in Sydney. His expertise led him to China, where he spearheaded the creation of over 180 projects, encompassing residential, commercial, and public structures. He established a branch of his firm in China, focusing on luxurious private residential projects. His accomplishments earned him an appointment as Associate Professor at Xiamen University of Technology.
In 2016, Santi moved to Dubai, becoming General Manager for an Italian architectural consultancy firm owned by the Royal Family in Sharjah. He oversaw the development of three five-star luxury hotels and numerous high-end villas and apartment projects. He subsequently established his own architectural consultancy firm in Dubai, specializing in bespoke luxury interior and hospitality projects, with a global reach extending from China and Hong Kong to Russia, Ukraine, the UAE, and Italy.

With 20+ years of experience in designing and executing opulent residential and commercial projects, Abhay specializes in intricate design for excellent results. He embraces new challenges and is passionate about connecting and exchanging ideas for enhanced fulfillment in his work.
The Gateway hotel was designed keeping a 4 star hotel budget and client in mind. The take was to create an inspiring hotel environ that surpasses the brand requirement visually while keeping the cost the same. The concept was to create a modern hotel but with uniqueness showing that it belonged to an Indian hotel chain. This translated into a blend of Indian motifs into a simple sleek straight line design, making it the governing rule through the entire hotel design. Patterns were inspired from saree borders to arches of Indian monuments and motifs from Indian crafts. These complex geometries were simplified to create patterns in the wall panels, carpets and screens. Red was the governing brand colour which was just posed with white and grey. Certain areas were interspersed with blue and aqua to give relief from the bold red colour. The hotel brief was also to have alternate floors on a dark and light theme room whereby the elements of design remains the same but the space would feel different for a returning customer. This was the first hotel designed by team BNK.
